About Me

Hello!

I am Maggie Mulligan a Senior at Indiana University studying media management and law and policy with a dual major in theatre. I am on the RedStepper Dance Team and am a proud member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority for which I am a member of the Diversity and Inclusion board.

I was born and raised in Kansas City, where I was an active member of the dance and theatre community. Besides participating in competitive dance and community and professional theatre, I dedicated myself heavily to my academics in high school, maintaining a 4.0 GPA.

I always knew I wanted to go out of state for college, and when I found IU, I knew it was the place for me. Besides the amazing programs, there is such a sense of community amongst the students that constantly inspires me to work my hardest and go after all of my goals.

IU is where I found my love for journalism. Although I have always had an interest in media, being a Hoosier allowed me to blossom. I love the idea of giving those who feel as though they do not have a voice the opportunity to be heard through my writing. After college, I hope to pursue this passion, and also work in the Performing Arts and pursue my love of theatre.
